Fatty acid profile: It is characterised by high contents of polyunsaturated fatty acids, Chia Seeds are the richest source of plant-derived mainly ?-linolenic acid (ALA), which accounts for approximately 60% all fatty acids. Linoleic, oleic and palmitic acids are found in lower amounts (Table 2). Chia seeds have greater contents of omega-3 acids than flaxseed.

The main chemical constituents of Chia Seed Oil are: Palmitic Acid, Palmitoleic Acid, Stearic Acid, Oleic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Alpha-Linolenic Acid, Arachidic Acid.

Chia Seed Oil is loaded with antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids that fight aging, soothe inflammation, reduce acne scars and keep skin radiant and healthy. It’s naturally one of the lighter oils, so it absorbs quickly into the skin.
