Historically used by Native Americans to promote skin health and wound healing and as part of spiritual rituals. Antiseptic properties. Oil is abundant in monoterpenes and esters, making it antiseptic and helpful for respiratory issues. Soothing for muscular aches and pains. Known airborne deodorizer and decongestant making it great in diffusers. Helpful for skin conditions such as eczema.

Black Spruce Oil is a very powerful oil. It is steam distilled from the needles and branches of the Picea Mariana tree, a slow growing, small, upright, evergreen coniferous tree averaging 15 – 50ft tall. The oil is clear to pale yellow in colour with a crisp, fresh odour reminiscent of the forest and is a Top perfumery note. Black spruce oil has an immediate grounding effect which promotes a sense of centring, calm and focus.
