Common Uses

Red Raspberry Seed oil is a wonderful addition to skin care products, bath and body care, sunscreens, sun care, face masks, lip products, hand and nail care and great in hair and scalp care products.

Properties: With a subtle, pleasant, fruity aroma and a light, this unique carrier oil is packed full of Vitamins and fatty acids. It is soothing and hydrating, and an extremely versatile oil.

Skincare: Red Raspberry Seed Oil is rich in Vitamin E and A. Being high in the essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and 6) make this oil highly moisturizing and it helps improve skin elasticity, and gives it a high antioxidant content. It is light, non greasy and easily absorbed, and suitable for most skin types. It is great for inflamed and sensitive skin, especially conditions such as acne and blemished skin, eczema and psoriasis, and helpful with stretch marks. Being high in phytosterols makes it an excellent choice for sun care and after sun care products. It is a valued ingredient in hand and nail care products.

Hair Care: Red Raspberry Seeds contain a very high amount of vitamin A and C. Both of these vitamins promote healthy hair. The Vitamin E in Red Raspberry Seed Oil helps to nourish the scalp and hair. The fatty acids and the anti-inflammatory properties help with soothing scalp irritation.

Lip care: Red Raspberry Seed Oil is used in lip balms, particularly products aimed at dry lips with its beautiful nourishing qualities and being so light and easily absorbed and with such a fresh, berry aroma.
