The main components of Cananga oil are: caryophyllene, linalool, benzyl benzoate, benzyl acetate, geranyl acetate, methyl benzoate, p-cresyl methyl ether, sesquiterpenes.

Common Uses

Cananga has higher amounts of beta-caryophyllene. It is a soothing and calming oil. It has a middle/base note. Cananga oil is highly prized in the perfume industry and is a favorite in cosmetic products.

Skin: It has very good nourishing properties Cananga has a balancing effect on sebum production making it great for both oily and dry skin. It is soothing for insect bites.

Hair Care: A balancing oil, it is a great ingredient in scalp care and hair care products. It is moisturising and can help promote the growth of healthy hair.
