Common Uses

Australian White Cypress oil is a particularly excellent perfumery ingredient for masculine body care products. White Cypress Oil is used in a various range of cosmetic and aromatherapy applications. It is suitable in skin care products such as soaps, creams, toners, bath products, diffusers, and massage oils. This essential oil can be used as a base or fixative for perfumery. It is a good blending oil for anchoring more elusive scents, and can be used in blends to add an "earthy" note. It is commonly used in aromatherapy, vaporisers, bath oils and soaps, body products, a favorite in men's products, muscle rubs, cold and flu treatments amongst others!

White Cypress essential oil is a relatively new essential oil. There are approximately 16 species of Cypress Pines in Australia, 14 of which are native. This source of White Cypress pine essential oil is distilled from the leaf, not the wood. It has a mild yellow colour with a woody, forest-like grounding aroma. Think perfume with this one. You only need a touch to make a difference. The White Cypress harvest is part of a regeneration project that is improving the population of the endangered Pink Wormtail Lizard. By stripping out selected trees, the forest floor has access again to sunlight critical to developing vegetation and insect species that the lizard thrives upon.
